The discipline presents the general concept of economic process from engineering and entrepreneurship perspective. Motivated by the necessity to quantify and compute specific key performance indexes, modelling techniques associated to two fundamental stages in the design and analysis of an economic process are introduced: the decision-making stage regarding the optimal resource allocation for an economic process, within the frame of Linear Programming and theory of duality, followed by game theory models of main interaction categories arising between economic agents, in cooperation or competition scenarios.
